It's a beautiful day in Bangalore today. We are well rested and ready to go. We just finished up breakfast and are looking forward to some more sight-seeing and shopping. We had breakfast on the upper part of our hotel. It's not completely roofed in, so we had a great breeze blowing thru while we ate. We are both excited to get out and see more of India today. As some of you mentioned, I am really starting to like India more and more! The food is taking some adjusting though. Our breakfast was good, but South India food is so diffent than the US (especially Kentucky). Can you believe they don't have biscuits and gravy anywhere :) They do have some bread that I like. Imagine an elephant ear (like the ones at a carnival or courtday) without cinamon and sugar. It's pretty tasty. We also ordered some scrambled eggs that were good. Our peanut butter and crackers stash is running low. I don't know if we can stretch it out or not :) I'm not too worried.
Last night I ordered sweet and sour chicken and rice, but couldn't really eat it. First, I'm a little worried about poultry and it's prep. But second, it is so spicy! I like spicy food, but this is different. It wasn't too hot to eat like Mexican food can be, but my stomach almost immediately said I've got to stop before I got started. But don't worry parents, we are eating plenty. Better run for now. We hope to give an update later on. Thanks for all the comments. They help us feel connected to home. Keep em coming.

Hey guys! I love hearing about the adventure you are on right now! Praying for you! Sounds like the traffic there is good prep for you to come visit us here sometime! (Ha Ha) Can't wait to hear about your first meeting with Macy! ~Mandy (for Andy and Addie too!)
Hey guys! You were missed at Summit. We had probably our lowest crowd ever. I'm blaming Seth for not showing the video during Church Sunday (could of also been the regional champ. game--Mason killed MC btw). I had multiple requests from many people that Sally fill in for you full time. I don't think that's such a terrible idea. Anyway, can't wait till you guys get home. I don't have anyone to call while your gone!
Kelly - do not let the requests for my replacing you make you feel too bad (see Jonathon's comment). I will step back and decline the requests so that you have something to do when you come home... I prefer tax work, who wouldn't, right?. Just kidding - you were VERY MUCH missed last night, but it went just fine - even with the light crowd. I thought it was cool that the virtue is Courage this month and you, Jeni, Ethan, Katie Rae, and Macy are being true life examples for us right now. Your message sounds like you might be turning into a vegetarian - Jeni, I'll give you all my recipes when you get home!!! Love you guys!
Sally
The crowd was low and Sally did do a great job filling in for Kelly. But the real star of the show was the LION. I only hope they caught that one on video. I am still laughing about it. I can't wait to hear about your adventures in India today. You guys are doing a great job describing your experiences. I almost feel like I am there.

This is my first attempt at responding to a blog, so I hope you get this.I'm so happy for you as I read about your journey. Macy will be thrilled one day when she understands how far you were willing to go to make her part of your family. May we all go to such lengths for our children. I can't wait to hear you share your stories in person. The blog is good, but I want to see your face when you tell us all about your trip. Keep enjoying the journey and we'll see you soon. Many are praying for you and can't wait for you to get back....God Bless....Glenn
Glad to hear from you again. As Jonathon and Sally said we missed you at Summit. Jonathon had the crowd in stitches as always! If India's bread is like "Court Day" then maybe I should visit one day! I'll just take your word for it! Hope you have a great day. We are heading to the Girls State Tourny, but I am taking the lap top to keep up with you!
Love ya,
Becky Nornhold
Hey Jeni and Kelly! Do you think your taste for "real" food ever come back?! :)
It sounds like such a wonderful adventure/experience for you guys. I'm glad you're taking it all in as you prepare to see Macy. Don't get too used to it though . . . we miss you guys too much!
Summit was great last night. I only hope Jonathon finds his "woobe" :) It kinda' sounds like he was talking about you, Kelly???? By the way, I plan on show the Summit video this Sunday!
God bless you guys!
